Savings Accounts
Whether you are just starting to save, or simply want to earn interest on easy-access funds, Community South has just the account for you.
- Minimum Opening Balance – $50.
- Unlimited Access – You can make savings account withdrawals at any Community South office anytime. You can also make withdrawals and transfer funds through our Community South ATMs or any ATM displaying the Shazam® logo. There are no transaction fees for using ATMs located at Community South offices or drive-thru branches. There may be a fee for using other Community South ATMs not located at a Community South office or branch.
- Interest Earnings – Calculated on the daily collected balance and credited quarterly. Rates subject to change. Inactivity fees apply; excess $2.00 each.
- Withdrawals – Six allowed per quarter at no charge.
- Account Statements – Mailed semi-annually unless an electronic transfer has occurred, then a monthly statement will be mailed.
- Fees – No charge on balances of $50 and above.
